Lunar Phases

The moon is truly incredible to look at... And not only from Earth, but also in the 3D viewport. Based on the research and development for our sci-fi film Syntactic Labyrinths, I created this moon render which adheres to accurate lunar phases. After building the setup I decided to place the camera towards the sun and I was presented with a strong and overwhelming flare. This is due to the Bloom & Glare settings in Chaos Corona that were quite strong. However, I did really enjoy the atmospheric result it gave. The following renders are simply different phases of the moon from different angles :) Hope you like it!
